Native Wisteria

Native Wisteria is a climbing plant with twining stems carrying leathery, dark green leaves. In spring it bears a mass of pea-shaped purple flowers. This is a fast-growing plant, ideal for scrambling over pergolas and trellis or as a colourful ground cover.

Fertilise in Spring with a native organic fertiliser. Prune after flowering to maintain compact growth. Can tolerate short periods of drought, but protect from heavy frosts.
