Grass Tree | Xanthorrhoea preissii
Also known as Balga, the Xanthorrhoea preissii is one of Australia’s most iconic long-lived grass trees. The stout blackened trunk, either single or branched, holds the thickened grassy crowns aloft. Flower stalks can reach up to 2.5 metres in length and will appear every few years.
It is slow-growing but will become a fantastic feature plant in the garden. This is a bird-attracting plant, including Black Cockatoos.
Currently available as tubestock.
